UPDATED: Paul Storey found guilty of Hurst Putt-Putt murder; gets death penalty
Paul Storey, 23, was found guilty Wednesday of murdering Jonas Cherry, 28, in an October 2006 robbery. Storey, a former employee of the Hurst Putt-Putt, and an accomplice who is also charged with murder, set out to rob the miniature golf location. After the robbers forced Cherry, an assistant manager, to open the business' safe, he was shot twice in the head and twice in the legs.
UPDATE: The same jury that convicted Storey of capital murder, took less than two hours to decide on the death penalty by lethal injection.
