The DADA Fall Gallery Walk is still on Saturday, rain or shine
The show must go on. Despite the impending doom of Ike hitting D/FW on Saturday, the DADA Fall Gallery Walk is still on, rain or shine or tropical storm force winds. My personal suggestion: show up early before it's supposed to really get ugly and bring a rain coat. Something tells me just an umbrella might not cut it. All the cool stuff is happening in the morning and afternoon anyway, like the Appraisal Workshop at Heritage Auction (starts at 10:30) and the Dallas Opera performing at the MAC (2 pm) and then the MADI Museum (3:30 pm). I know 10 am seems a little early to get your drink and art on, but keep in mind: it's noon somewhere.
