Even Dallas ISD supporters can’t handle budget shortfall
Support for Superintendent Michael Hinojosa is fading among board and community members.
Since Dallas ISD Superintendent Michael Hinojosa announced last week that the district had to borrow $64 million from their reserves to cover a budget shortfall, even some of his supporters are having a hard time spinning a positive light on the situation. A DISD board of trustees member said that Hinojosa could well be put on the street if things don't improve soon.
