AMR Corp. sells American Beacon
The lucky buyer is Light House Holdings, Inc.
American Airlines parent company, Fort Worth based AMR Corp., sold its American Beacon Advisors Inc. to Light House Holdings, Inc. The $480 million sale was mostly in cash, but AMR Corp. will have a small stake in Light House's parent company. American Beacon will still give cash and investment management to AMR and American Airlines.
