ALLEN — To celebrate the opening of Cru: A Wine Bar in Allen, Texas, this oasis for wine lovers is hosting a grand opening celebration devoted to the pleasures of the grape. On Tuesday Sept. 30 from 5 to 8 p.m., the restaurant in Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm is opening its doors to the community for complementary tastings of wines from around the world and appetizers from its fall menu.
