Mavericks’ Josh Howard caught on tape dissing national anthem
In Howard's defense, he had just listened to this Styles P song.
I guess we can call Dallas Mavericks forward Josh Howard a triple threat now: First he admitted to partaking in weed during the off-season (of course, the admission came during the playoffs), then he was caught drag racing in North Carolina.
Now, a YouTube video has surfaced that has Howard and others goofing around during the national anthem at a charity flag football game in July, with Howard saying, "The Star-Spangled Banner' is going on. I don't celebrate this [expletive]. I'm black."
Wait, that's an acceptable excuse? Damn, why have I never tried something like that? I mean, besides the fact that I'm white.

Love the Cuban response. Let's face it, that was a pretty ignorant thing for Howard to say, but all of those responses he got were just as ignorant and unpatriotic as the initial comment.

Yes, I think Cuban's point was very well made. We've all said stupid things, they just usually aren't broadcast to the entire world. So now I guess those people know a little better how Josh is feeling right about now.
