Man wrongfully convicted of rape will probably be released today after appearing in a Dallas courtroom
Johnnie Earl Lindsey is expected to leave a Dallas courtroom this morning (Sept. 19) as a free man after spending 26 years behind bars for a crime it turns out he didn't commit.
Lindsey was convicted of the 1981 rape of a woman who was riding her bike around White Rock Lake. If he is released as expected, he will be the 19th wrongfully convicted felon exonerated by DNA test results in Dallas County since the testing began in 2001.

I wonder what's going through the rape victim's head right now.
