Dallas Cowboys 27, Green Bay Packers 16
Green Bay was able to score a field goal in each of the first three quarters, but those nine points were no match for the Cowboys' touchdowns in each of the last three quarters.
The Cowboys are rolling past their opponents so easily this season, they might as well be playing the Saskatchewan Roughriders or any other CFL team.
After kicker Nick Folk put three on the board in the first, Felix Jones finished a 60-yard touchdown with 6:04 left in the second quarter. The score put Jones at three touchdowns for three regular games thus far in his NFL career. A late 39-yard attempt by Folk, put Dallas up 13-6 at the half.
Green Bay kicker Marion Crosby opened second half scoring with a 33-yarder (5:58). Marion Barber rushed a two-yard touchdown with 2:53 left in the third, then Miles Austin, back from injury, combined with Tony Romo for a 52-yard touchdown in the fourth. It appeared the game was all but done until Barber fumbled, giving Green Bay an opportunity to get its first touchdown of the game, putting the score at 27-16 with 2:11 left on the clock. Their late efforts fell short, punctuated by an 11-yard sack with seconds left, giving Dallas its third win of the regular season; Green Bay its first loss.
Romo threw 17-for-30 for 260 passing yards. Marion Barber was a high performer yet again, rushing for 142 yards, while Felix Jones rushed for 76 yards. Miles Austin, with 115 yards on two receptions for the night, more than doubled his career yardage. Jason Witten plugged away with 7 receptions, averaging 9.6 yards each.
Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers threw 22-for-39 for 290 yards. Greg Jennings and Donald Driver ran for 115 and 76 yards respectively.

Nice. Making fun of the Canadians. What did they ever do to you? Okay, so the CFL might not be the same caliber as the NFL. But at least the Roughriders are playing this season as defending champions, more than can be said for the Cowboys.

For the record, such is the treatment a well-meaning Canadian gets when he innocently points out that his Roughriders are sharing the same good fortune this season as my Cowboys. Imbued with the power of the internet, there are no lines I won't cross in order to make fun of our friendly neighbors to the north.
