Republic Las Colinas changes menu from tapas to more traditional steak type stuff
IRVING Republic Las Colinas has undergone a transformation of its menu under newly appointed Executive Chef Kent Lemmons. Republic will no longer offer its popular tapas menu and will transform its menu to offer what everyone in the metroplex seems to be eating. Steaks, Chops and fresh Seafood will take center stage on the new menu at Republic in Las Colinas.
Chef Lemmons’ menu will feature 100% prime beef and will include such entrees as the Cowboy Ribeye, a Grilled Prime Bone-in Pork Chop and Shiner Bock Braised Beef Short Ribs, as well as Pan Roasted Sea Bass (served over a spinach casserole) and Lobster Tails. Sides will play a big role in the menu offering such items as Bourbon Creamed Corn and Cheddar Poblano Macaroni & Cheese. The appetizers include Chef Lemmons' signature item, a trio of seafood shooters.
