Arlington’s former mayor protem considering running for county commissioner
Ron Wright served eight years on Arlington City Council.
Former mayor pro tem of Arlington Ron Wright did not run for re-election last May. When he stepped down he mentioned his interest in seeking a higher office but did not express which position he would be running for. Wright said Monday that he is thinking about running for Tarrant County Commissioner in 2010, against the current Tarrant County Commissioner Marti VanRavenswaay.
