Parker City Council to honor Bill Frizzell’s 30+ years of service

When the Parker City Council meets in regular session Tues. evening, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. (in City Hall), the primary focus will be on an official recognition and appreciation of the 30+ years of service to the community turned in by Bill Frizzell.

Other items to be addressed during the meeting include:

* rumination over the preliminary plat for Stonebridge Creek Estates

* options for the provision of a temporary covering for the quint fire truck

* consideration of the issuance of tax and water pledge certificates of obligation in the amount of $5,200,000

* review of agreement with American National Bank for use of Direct Way Capture check machines

* mulling over of the idea of holding a 40 year anniversary celebration for the city

* whether or not to renew the city's current solid waste contract, or request bids from other service providers

* whether or not the number of police reserve officers is adequate and appropriate
