Ferguson Road Initiative hosts 10th anniversary bus tour with special guest Mayor Tom Leppert

WHITE ROCK HILLS — The Ferguson Road Initiative (FRI), in celebration of its 10th Anniversary, will host a Community Bus Tour and Luncheon for Dallas civic and business leaders on Friday, September 26 from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the White Rock Church of Christ Fellowship Hall at 9220 Ferguson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228. In addition to the tour, FRI will welcome its community partners, corporate sponsors, and other community organizations in a celebration that will help those who are new to FRI learn more about this grassroots organization. FRI will welcome guest speaker honorable Mayor Tom Leppert, along with a host of other community leaders to celebrate the impact that FRI has made in its innovative and holistic approach to revitalize an area of Dallas that has been in serious decline. Along with showcasing FRI’s achievements, the bus tour will take passengers on a personal tour of the areas in most need of community support, emphasizing on the tour the areas of opportunity that are addressed in FRI’s strategic economic improvement plan.
