Federal prosecutors initiate retrial of Holy Land Muslim charity in Dallas
DALLAS Federal prosecutors are starting a second trial against The Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, the defunct Richardson-based Muslim charity that was accused of funneling millions to Palestinian militant group Hamas.
They blew it last year when the first trial ended with a mistrial. The group shut down in 2001.
