Tarrant County DA drops sexual assault charges against Christian Methodist Episcopal bishop
Fort Worth Christian Methodist Episcopal Bishop Kenneth Wayne Carter stood accused of sexual assault in relation to an alleged incident in which it was claimed that he forced a Dallas-residing job applicant to engage in sex acts with him.
But after reviewing the evidence, the Tarrant County District Attorney's office has dropped the charges, citing insufficient evidence to proceed to trial.
There is, however, an ongoing civil suit involving the alleged assault.
(Christian Methodist Episcopal? Anyone else reminded of East Northwest Highway?)
