XTO Energy may build a nine-story office structure in downtown Fort Worth
not provided by XTO Energy
XTO Energy has been using their property at Seventh and Calhoun (in downtown Fort Worth) as a parking lot for their employees.
If they carry through with proposed plans - and, of course, if the Fort Worth Planning and Development office then approves - they might build a $38 million, nine-story, 360,000 sq. ft. office building on the site.
XTO is a major player in Barnett Shale drilling, and has a range of other oil and gas interests around the country, which by all rights should confer on them the status of a growth organization.
Judging from my read on the presidential debates last night (Fri., Sept. 26), no matter which candidate gets into office, there's going to be plenty of impetus for increased domestic U.S. drilling activities.
