Citizens divided on bond for new stadium for Keller ISD
Citizens of Keller will have a chance to vote on two bond packages affecting Keller ISD in November, including one that would dole out $25.6 million for a new football stadium. The issue is predictably contentious, as some see the stadium as a necessity, with three high schools sharing one stadium at the moment and a fourth high school set to open in 2010. Others think that while the stadium is important, other buildings, including a possible new elementary school, should have a higher priority.
Hmm, football or education -- which will win out in Texas? Gee, it's so hard to choose...
