Concert by Dallas native teen singer Demi Lovato draws crowd at State Fair of Texas
DALLAS Mad crush at the State Fair of Texas on Sunday when 16-year-old singer and Dallas native Demi Lovato performed a concert. The show didn't start until 5:35 p.m. but hoards of screaming teenage girls started arriving at 7 a.m., despite the heat and lack of seating. Crew members had to tell them more than once to chill the F out and back off from the stage. Lovato just released a new CD, Don't Forget; her magic comes from her alliance with the Jonas Brothers and her role in a Disney movie, Camp Rock.
