UPDATED: Fort Worth mime Subway robbers caught
FORT WORTH A man and woman wearing white face paint robbed a Subway Sunday night at about 9 p.m. at 1100 Bridgewood Drive in Fort Worth.
The woman was white, the guy was black. They got about $300 and fled in what the DMN calls "a white luxury-type vehicle".
Plenty of fodder already for conjectural wise-cracking, but don't overlook the comments on the story; the DMN recently started allowing readers to comment but there appears to be some technical difficulties. there appears to be some technical difficulties. there appears to be some technical difficulties.
UPDATED: Fort Worth police have arrested two women they believe are responsible for a string of Subway robberies after the duo attempted to rob two more Subways Tuesday night. That's right, TWO women -- police suspect that Zaqueshala Gibson, one of the women arrested, was mistaken for a man because she was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and wearing white face paint. My question is, why are Subways considered such easy targets?

Hey, who on earth is better suited to deliver clear holdup instructions without incriminating voice or handwriting.

Perhaps the $5 footlong is to blame? I'd like to think these cats are anticipating the surplus of Lincoln's wouldn't be marked, but stupidity seems to be a stronger argument.

my only complaint is that they didn't bust in there with a few colored smoke bombs and some super-soakers. But hey- it's about time we got some real-world super-villians with a sense of STYLE!
