Captain Limousines offering free BuzzFree kits to Dallas-area schools
Captain Limousine is donating 10 BuzzFree Prom kits to Metroplex high schools, which otherwise may not be afforded the opportunity to participate in BuzzFree Prom.
Captain Limousines, a Dallas-based limousine company, announces a strategic partnership with BuzzFree Prom which is committed to encouraging Metroplex teens to make smarter choices against drinking and doing drugs on prom night.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, more than half of fatal car crashes on prom weekends involve alcohol—a statistic that was the driving force behind this alcohol and drug-free prom effort between Captain Limousines and BuzzFree Prom.
“Captain Limousines is committed to the safety of teens on Prom night,” said Matt Van Alstyne Marketing Director for Captain Limousines, “Many underage people still have easy access to alcohol and we are making it our job to help police this and take a proactive approach.”
As the touchstone of this project, Captain Limousine is donating 10 BuzzFree Prom kits to Metroplex high schools, which otherwise may not be afforded the opportunity to participate in BuzzFree Prom—an established program that encourages teens to make smart decisions by acknowledging the right choices in refusing to drink, do drugs and drive.
The designated Dallas schools receiving the BuzzFree Prom kits will utilize those safe prom tools, including a pledge not to drink or do drugs on prom night to kick off proactive campaigns to keep teens safe on the most memorable night of their high school years. In return for abiding by their pledge, the teens will be rewarded with BuzzFree Prom discounts on prom-related merchandise.
Captain Limousines is pleased to be in the forefront of this proactive launch by assisting these schools in purchasing these prom program materials including BuzzFree buttons, stickers, pledge sheets and banners which all encourage teenagers to make responsible decisions.
BuzzFree starter kits and other items are also available at www.buzzfreeprom.com.
How to get your FREE BuzzFree Kit:
The first 10 schools that request a free BuzzFree Prom Kit by visiting www.buzzfreeprom.com or calling 214-747-1190 will receive their BuzzFree Prom kits at no charge. Those schools which are not among the first 10 may go online or call for a BuzzFree Prom and Graduation Safety Poster Set free of charge (limit one per school) to help promote a safe prom and graduation season.
In addition to the free BuzzFree Prom kits, Captain Limousines will also offer up to $160 off a prom limousine rental for students who sign the BuzzFree Prom Pledge. It is a fact that 25% of all students ages 16-20 involved in traffic fatalities had been drinking. Captain Limousines and BuzzFree Prom unite against drinking and drugs on prom night by educating our teens on the dangers of making unsafe choices and the rewards of making smart decisions to stay sober.
