Dragonfly at Dallas’ Hotel ZaZa has new spring dinner menu
DALLAS Executive Chef Grant Morgan and Dragonfly at Hotel ZaZa celebrate the flavors of the season with a new spring dinner menu. Blending American Fusion with spring and summer bounty - citrus, succotash, local meats and cheeses - Dragonfly welcomes warmer weather with fresh, flavorful dining. Diners may also take advantage of the "Half Zs" promotion with a trio of budget-friendly specials: weekly happy hour specials, Monday night half-priced bottles of wine and half-off dining Wednesday nights.
New Soups and Starters include Grilled Texas Quail with salsa verde and queso fresco and a lightly citrus-cured Hamachi Crudo with jalapeƱo and blood orange. Heirloom Caprese Salad combines mini heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, endive and basil. New Sides include Smashed Potatoes, Asparagus and Wilted Spinach while Z-Grill introduces Spiced Pork Tenderloin served with Tabil spices, creamer pea succotash and corn pudding sauce.
Dragonfly's spring Entrees include the Pan Roasted Sea Scallops with parsnip puree, braised fennel and apple cider reduction; 12 Oz. Black Pepper Crusted N.Y. Strip with garlic- whipped potatoes, asparagus and Beurre Rouge; Supreme Peasant Breast pan roasted with golden potato hash and gravy; Arctic Char en Cioppino with clams, mussels, fennel-tomato broth and grilled sourdough; Braised Veal Breast with herb spaetzle, caramelized onions, apricots and wilted spinach; and Forest Mushroom Strudel featuring Dallas goat cheese, black truffle and green garlic puree.
Sip one of Dragonfly's new Wine List offerings such as Jalliance champagne, Newton Claret or Tangley Oaks merlot while enjoying the new menu.
The "Half Zs" promotion continues with happy hour every Monday through Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m. with $5 drink specials and lite bites. Monday evenings also include a half-off wine list, and Wednesday evenings feature half-off all menu items. Wednesday's half-off menu does not include beverages or alcohol; happy hour drink specials are not available with any other offer.
