Dallas Skyline High School’s long-time basketball coach relieved of duties
Students at Skyline High School (in the Dallas Independent School District) will likely notice someone missing from their campus in the coming days: head basketball coach J.D. Mayo has been relieved of his duties after 33 years on the job.
The decision came as both a surprise and a disappointment to the coach, who apparently has been given no reason for his dismissal; he also doesn't know whether he'll continue in his other role as classroom teacher.
Somebody's got some 'splainin' to do on this one.
