Fort Worth ISD receives grant to help homeless students graduate
Fort Worth ISD received a $350,000 TexShep grant from the Texas Homeless Education Office. The district reports that it has 787 homeless students, up 100 from 2008. The money, paid out over three years, is intended for programs that will help homeless students graduate.
