FC Dallas launches social networking site MyFCDallas.com
It was announced today that FC Dallas has launched its official free-access online social networking site, MyFCDallas.com . Created using the Ning platform, MyFCDallas.com is an online community that gives FCD fans the opportunity to interact with other fans, FC Dallas players, and front office employees.
After creating a profile, users can set up their own personalized pages and utilize features that allow them to interact with other members. Among the available features include the ability to add photo and video galleries, create blogs, send messages to other members, participate in chats, invite friends, add applications, and much more.
Last week, FC Dallas season ticket holders and FCD Nation members were invited to join MyFCDallas.com along with front office employees. Dallas players Drew Moor, Pablo Ricchetti, Daniel Torres, and Brek Shea, and former player and current community ambassador, Bobby Rhine, have committed to providing regular personal updates throughout the season. On Thursday, April 9 at 1 p.m. CT, Moor will participate in a live open chat on the site with MyFCDallas.com members.
