Hornets Point Guard Chris Paul nearly achieved the triple double in Sunday's effort against the Dallas Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki scored 29 points and had 14 rebounds. Josh Howard tacked up 15 points, while Jason Terry and J.J. Barea each notched 13. Chris Paul had 31 points, 17 assists, and nine rebounds to lead the Hornets in the 102-92 win.
