Wine lovers, as well as budget-wise diners, will now find it easier to bring their own wines to restaurants by using GoBYO.com, a new website launched by DiningInfo, which identified dramatic restaurant industry trends in a new survey. Although there are many restaurant guides on the Web, finding restaurants where BYO wine is permitted, traditionally has not been easy. The survey found a surprisingly large number of Dallas area restaurants that permit people to bring their own wine.
GoBYO.com, a subsidiary of DiningInfo, now covers 10 major U.S. metropolitan areas (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Southeast Florida and Washington/Baltimore). For more information visit GoBYO.com.

Interesting - when you enter the name of a place that does allow BYOB, and they do not have it, they return a blank page with zippo feedback.
Oooops....

I pulled it up fine on my FF at work, not sure what the deal is now.
I don't remember seeing anything for beer, just wine. I'm much more interested in places I can take my own beer since the grape juice doesn't really do it for me.

It appears to be working now and letting one know if a place is not found (using FF 3.0.8).
