TCU delays, rethinks plans for on-campus gay housing

Texas Christian University has decided to hold back on the "themed dorms" on campus over concerns of segregating students. The university will rethink the idea and make a decision some time next year.

So the people that go off to experience life outside their cocoon but within the safe cocoon of private faith-based college, won't have a new sub-cocoon to crawl into?

Sounds risky to me.

On the other hand, they can just do what the LGBT folks did when I was in school, hang out en masse in the Baptist Student Union. Might be harder at a Disciples of Christ campus, but heck, Baptists are everywhere.
