League of Women Voters to hold Plano candidate forums
The candidates for Plano City Council and Plano Independent School District School Board will have back-to-back sessions Saturday, April 18, 2009, Shimelpfenig Library, 5024 Custer Road in Plano. Session 1 (2:30pm to 4pm) will present all candidates in contested races for Plano City Council: Ben Harris and Susan Plonka (Place 2); Phil Dyer and David Fincannon (Place 6-Mayor); Lee Dunlap and Greg Myer (Place 8). Session 2 (4:30pm to 5:30pm) will present candidates for contested races for Plano ISD. Sessions are presented by the League of Women Voters of Plano/Collin County.
