Dallas Mavericks 95, Houston Rockets 84
Jason Kidd knocked down a triple double on Wednesday night in Dallas to put the Mavericks over the Rockets, 95-84. Solidifying their sixth place spot in the Western Conference, Dallas will face San Antonio in the first round of the playoffs. The Rockets, who were sitting pretty with their eyes on second, have slipped all the way to fifth place and lost the division title.
Kidd had 10 rebounds, 11 points, and 12 assists, while Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 and had 15 rebounds. Houston only had three players scored in the double digits, with Yao Ming taking the most at 23.
