Forum Theatre Company to host acting camp
The two-week intensive camp will prepare students for collegiate auditions.
Forum Theatre Company in cooperation with Stage West will be hosting a two-week acting intensive camp, July 20-31, 2009; that will prepare students for collegiate auditions.
This camp will offer various acting and musical theatre classes to boost students confidence, knowledge, and artistic abilities. Including:
*College Theatre Research
*Monologue Selection and Interpretation
*Song Selection and Interpretation
*Audition Dance
The goal is to give every student the confidence to audition at any desired college and be accepted. Students will prepare materials needed for university auditions with the assistance of professional directors, actors, educators, and choreographers. At the end of the camp there will be a Mock Audition, where students will “audition” for local professionals and receive their direct feedback on the good parts of the their audition, and the areas where they need work. No where in the greater Ft. Worth area will you find a program specifically designed to prepare students for their upcoming college auditions.
