Video Interview & Performance: Robert Gomez
Robert Gomez will release his latest album, Pine Sticks and Phosphorus, on April 25. A respected songwriter and musician from Denton, Gomez will perform an in-store this Sunday, April 19 at Good Records.
In anticipation of the in-store and his CD release, Gomez brought a few fellow musicos with him, Jesse Chandler, Tamara Cauble, and Heather Test, for an interview and acoustic performance in the PegNews "studio." In the interview the group talks about their introductions to music, Toys-R-Us Omnichords, the forthcoming album, and Gomez and Eric Pulido of Midlake's label, Nova Posta Vinyl, among other topics. Pieces of the performances are spliced in with the interview, with full videos of each song below.
