Decorazon looks for submission for the annual UnScene Photography Tour

Kathleen Wilke, Lady Of The Lake I, edition of 10, C-print, 30" x 45"
Last year the DECORAZONgallery discovered Kathleen Wilke at UnScene Dallas. Now they are looking for their next star... and this time we're expanding the competition way beyond Texas! Anyone globally can upload his or her photos of any subject or content from any location in the world. Five finalists will be chosen and their work will be showcased on Unscenetour.com. The best new artist, chosen by DECORAZONgallery, will earn his or her own show and will receive the following:
- Curating and consultation time from the UnScene team and the DECORAZONgallery
- Exhibition of 10-12 prints at the DECORAZONgallery for full-term exhibition
- Opening night reception for winning artist
- Marketing and PR to promote artist and opening night
- UnScene will provide funding for printing and mounting/framing of 10-12 prints sized 16x20 to 30x40, according to curator guidelines
- Paid transportation including flight and hotel for artist opening
Submission Details
- Submit up to 15 photos for $25.00
- Submission deadline is June 30, 2009
- Finalists will be chosen by July 15, 2009
- Show commences first week of August on unscenetour.com
- Winner announced by August 15, 2009
- Show at Decorazon to take place between October 2009 and January 2010.
