Cookbook from Dallas ISD’s healthy recipe contest available online
DALLAS A cookbook of healthy recipes from the 2009 "Relate to the Plate" Healthy Recipe Contest is available online at the Dallas ISD Web site.
The cookbook is a collection of 55 recipes entered in the Dallas ISD’s Food and Child Nutrition Services healthy recipe contest and features entries from students and staff.
A panel of celebrity chefs judged 75 entries in the contest, held earlier this year, which was designed to explore healthy-eating habits and create a better connection and relationship between parents and students through cooking.
