Dallas strip club to hold job fair

24

Cabaret Royale in Dallas will be hosting a job fair on Wednesday. Steve Craft, owner of the club and at least four others in the area, has received twice the inquiries for job seekers, no doubt in part due to the economy and recent layoffs. Because of this sudden increase in applicants, Craft is holding a job fair for a variety of jobs, including entertainers, managers, bartenders, hostesses, and other positions (that don't necessarily require wardrobe removal).

With a minimum drink purchase, I bet.

Steve Craft, with Cabaret Royal...after reading this article, I think I am finally going insane. You will never be as good as Don's Showtime was, Greenville at Lovers Lane, circa 1980-1994. Same owner of LaBare's across the same parking lot. Go make that buck, but good gosh. At least you are trying to hire new people for that cause man, and let them pay thier bills,...I like it. Go get'em. Thanks Peg News for this story.

I'm with Russ..quite sure most of the women who applied are more concerned with paying the light bill versus the deterioration of a society based partly on sexuality.

::deterioration of a society

I counter that it might be nice culturally to expect sex objects with four year degrees. They're already prettier than you. Why not assume they're smarter too?

Now, if they will only cut the price of a lap dance to reflect our economic woes...

I'm sure I'd enjoy strip clubs a lot more if the conversation could be about more than her shoes, the weather, or "last night's game".

I know..how awesome would it be to discuss the Middle East peace process with some hot chick in a thong and pasties?

We can call it "Pegasus Consulting". Dallas' leader in cabaret style consultation.

My boss told me about this earlier today...I'm wondering if I should be worried.

What if you combined a strip (umm, I mean "gentlemen's") club with the collective office-space concept of Cohabitat?

That'd be really convenient when it comes to entertaining VCs visiting from out of town.

Now, Tumbles.... would you rather be told you *should think about that job or that you shouldn't*?

...but, yeah, that was my first thought. I think it depends on whether he/she slapped your butt on the way by as they said it. (That's the delineation I always use)

So can I get you to help me artificially support naming everything Cesar Chavez at every turn? You'd give me false cred with the dual name coincidences.

Only because you already have a restraining order in PDF with my name and data. All it needs is a Notary.

That's gotta be comforting.
