Another Dallas PD officer resigns due to dash cam video
Here's a strange one: Now-former Dallas police officer Kent Bocook has resigned after the dash cam video in his car proved he lied about an incident with an alleged drunk driver. Bocook said the driver hit his squad car, while the video shows Bocook purposefully put his car in front of the driver's van.
My question: Why lie about it? Is there a rule against putting your car in front of a vehicle instead of behind it? Oh, and here's another coincidence that other Dallas officers should heed -- the incident took place at the intersection of Preston Road and the George Bush Turnpike, the same intersection that started the now-infamous Ryan Moats situation. Must be bad mojo 'round those parts.
