Spokeswoman for group against Dallas convention center hotel alleges city hall withheld new feasibility data
According to Anne Raymond, a spokeswoman for Citizens Against a Taxpayer Owned Hotel, Dallas City Hall is withholding new data regarding the feasibility of building the forthcoming convention center hotel. Raymond's allegations on Wednesday partly spring from a city invoice for $15,000 to update the 2008 feasibility study upon which the city based its yes vote for the hotel.
City Hall, however, denies the allegations, saying that no new significant changes have been made. According to the city, the updated study was a necessary part of package to be presented to potential revenue bonds buyers, who will help fund the hotel.
