Masked bandits rob Kennedale bank
The suspects wore colorful masks to cover their faces and were dressed in black hooded sweatshirts, khaki pants, and gloves.
On Friday, April 17 at 10:55 a.m. Kennedale Police received a report of a holdup from an employee at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 200 W. Kennedale Parkway. Responding officers were unable to locate any suspects in the immediate area of the facility. Witnesses reported that two males entered the building and displayed handguns, demanding money. The suspects wore colorful masks to cover their faces and were dressed in black hooded sweatshirts, khaki pants, and gloves. After getting an undetermined amount of cash the suspects left through the front door and ran around the east end of the building. No vehicle was observed by witnesses.
Wells Fargo Bank, in cooperation with the Kennedale Police Department and the F.B.I., is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for the original information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible this offense.
