Texas Frightmare Weekend adds Corbin Bernsen to guest lineup
Perhaps even more exciting: there'll be a Saturday evening screening of the Mario Bava horror classic, Black Sunday.
From Loyd Cryer, ringmaster of the Texas Frightmare Weekend, comes word that Corbin Bernsen has been added to the attending guest lineup.
Bernsen - known to many (slightly elderly) TV viewers as Arnie Becker from the long-running legal drama L.A. Law - gets horror cred for his portrayal of Dr. Alan Feinstone in a grisly film outing called The Dentist.
Perhaps (nay, WITHOUT A DOUBT) more exciting, Cryer announces that there's a screening of the great Mario Bava's reanimated witch-themed horror classic, Black Sunday, set (somewhat confusingly) for Saturday, May 2 (at 6 p.m.).
Finally, there's been another guest cancellation (ref. the unfortunate un-appearance of Lena Headey), this time involving Michael Rooker, who's offering up the lame excuse that his shooting schedule has been extended as a way to get out of attending the fest.
(O.K., maybe not so lame...)
