Loophole in computer system gave TWU students access to advisor reports
A loophole in the university's computer system allowed unauthorized users the ability to access Texas Woman's University advisers' reports, in which records of students' names, grades, and courses are kept. Though some who accessed it thought you could change grades, the university contends that you could not alter the reports. After getting wind of the mild guffaw, TWU shut down the system and rebooted it 24 hours later with more security and stern warning to anyone who might somehow still be inappropriately accessing adviser-only information.
