From those Horror Remix wags - the guys who string together "just the good parts" of really bad '80's horror flicks for your viewing enjoyment - comes their latest offering, Death Rock: Part One.
Playing at the Addison Studio Movie Grill (for free) on Wednesday, April 29 at 10 p.m., the patchwork two hour entertainment focuses (badly, we trust) on Trick or Treat (1986) and Rock āNā Roll Nightmare (1987), two highly-forgettable metal-themed movies of the basest possible pedigree.
Horror Remix: Death Rock (part one)
- When: Wednesday, April 29, 2009, 10 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
- Where: The Studio Movie Grill (Addison), 5405 Belt Line Road, Dallas
- Cost: Free
- Age limit: Not available
Also on the program will be short clips from Rocktober Blood, Hell's Bells, Heavy Metal Parking Lot and Hard Rock Zombies.
So fire up that faulty electric guitar - you know, the one with the bad ground? - and pluck out a jangling litany to Satan as a warm-up; then head on out to SMG Addison for a mid-week celebration of extremely bad rock music cinema.
You'll be glad you did (or at least totally unmindful of it, assuming you plugged in the faulty guitar correctly).
