North Texas Studio Movie Grills to host cheap Summer movie series for kids
Through the collaborative efforts of area Studio Movie Grills (specifically the ones in Arlington, Dallas, Lewisville and Plano) and North Texas Kids, those self-same North Texas kids and their families will have a chance to see a whole slew of fun feature films all summer long at a whopping big discount.
They're calling the program the Summer Children's Series, but considering the $1 admission price for kids (adults pay $2), we call it "a dirt cheap sweet deal."
Each Monday through Thursday at 11 a.m., beginning on June 8 and running straight through August 20, there'll be a new kid-friendly film in the lineup.
Here's a list of films to be featured:
JUNE:
Robots (June 8-11)
Because of Winn Dixie (June 15-18)
Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (June 22-25)
Happy Feet (June 29 - July 2)
JULY:
Horton Hears a Who (July 6-9)
Jimmy Neutron (July 13-16)
Kung Fu Panda (July 20-23)
Nim's Island (July 27-30)
AUGUST
Over the Hedge (Aug. 3-6)
Prince of Egypt (Aug. 10-13)
Coraline (Aug. 17-20)
