Dallas chocolatier Dorian Isenberg selected “Key Opinion Leader” for new chocolate brand
Just as a master sommelier can detect the slightest difference in taste among wines, a master chocolatier can effortlessly detect subtle flavor changes in cacao. For the past year Dorian Isenberg, owner of J. Dorian Chocolatier, has loaned his trained palate to the development of a new chocolate line called Chocolanté, created by Puratos Chocolate, USA Inc., sister company to the producers of the popular Belcolade, "The Real Belgian" chocolate.
Recently, Isenberg was invited to travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin for the official unveiling of the new product. Selected as one of the "Key Opinion Leaders" for the new line, Isenberg worked with the Puratos Chocolate USA research and development staff to establish a flavor profile that would combine the traditional Belgium chocolate techniques with the taste profile of the American Consumer. The event also marked the grand opening of Puratos' Chocolate Innovation Center, which will serve as a test facility for future products.
