Burleson to host Texas Hunter Education safety course
The best hunter is a safe hunter, so the Burleson Community Center is hosting a two-day Texas Hunter Education safety course Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8 - 9. This class is geared toward participants who are at least 9 years old. Children, 9 - 12 years old, must be accompanied by an adult.
Saturday’s hours are 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday’s hours are noon - 4 p.m. The safety course covers the skills, regulations and responsibilities of hunting, wildlife conservation, and the outdoors.
The hunter certification lasts a lifetime and is recognized in all states and provinces that require hunter education. For more information, call 817-295-8168.
