Dallas criminal defense attorney Barry Sorrels recognized among Best in America
DALLAS For the 10th consecutive year, noted Dallas criminal defense attorney Barry Sorrels has earned a spot on the prestigious listing of The Best Lawyers in America. In the upcoming 2010 edition of Best Lawyers, he again will be honored for his work in both criminal defense and white-collar criminal defense.
The Dallas-based firm of Sorrels, Udashen & Anton, which Sorrels founded, also earned special recognition in Best Lawyers as the top firm in Texas for both white-collar and non-white-collar criminal defense.
To compile the Best Lawyers listing, researchers conduct an exhaustive peer-review survey that has been developed and refined for nearly 25 years. The 2010 edition of Best Lawyers is based on more than 2.8 million confidential votes submitted by the top attorneys from around the country. The entire list can be viewed at www.bestlawyers.com.
“By any measure, it is always special when you are recognized by your peers,” says Sorrels. “But to think that other attorneys consider our firm to be the best in Texas, and among the very best in the country, is particularly gratifying.”
Recognized among the nation’s premiere criminal defense lawyers, Sorrels has tried more than 300 federal and state criminal trials in courtrooms throughout Texas and the rest of the country. He represents clients facing complicated white-collar crime charges, including conspiracy, income tax evasion, bank fraud, and RICO violations.
