Former Ben Zephyr guitarist, of Denton, named finalist in Guitar Player‘s “Guitar Superstar 2009”
Former Ben Zephyr lead guitarist Krisz Simonfalvi was selected as one of ten finalists in Guitar Player's "Guitar Superstar 2009." A BZ bandmate passed along the information, which is confirmed by this FaceBook note from the magazine.
You can check out the song Simonfalvi submitted to Guitar Player here. The finals are at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore, California on September 12.

I wouldn't call him the former guitarist ... just the guitarist, for the former band. Either way, I've very excited for him! He's a great guitarist and a great person, and he deserves this.
