Thursday

Seabird may be another one of those piano pop bands, but their lyricism and song differentiation set them apart. They join Barcelona and Meese at Prophet Bar.

Friday

For the first time in 24 years, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and John Mellencamp will share the stage on their current ballpark tour at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie. When will you likely see a lineup like this again? Another 24 years? Can you wait that long?

Abigail Williams isn't exactly the name you would expect for a black metal band, but that's precisely who will be screaming it up at Lola's with Goatwhore on Friday.

Also: Vega at The Lounge and Broken Social Scene with Telegraph Canyon at the Palladium Ballroom.

Saturday

Fill your whole damn day with country and Americana tunes at Filthy McNasty's Saloon for the 1st Annual Stockyard Jam featuring such acts as Lucky Tubb and Seven Hours to Southland.

Also: Crue Fest II at Superpages.com Center, Method Man and Redman with Ghostface Killa at House of Blues, and tons of blues at Pearl at Commerce.

Sunday

Chris Isaak, described as "the epitome of modern musical cool," released his latest album, Mr. Lucky back in February of this year. Touring in support of it, and just to tour, of course, Isaak will be at the House of Blues bringing the cool to your lazy Sunday.

Also: Go see (500) Days of Summer. Seriously. Unbelievable.
