Arlington proposing new taxes to fund school improvements
Many Arlington ISD campuses are operating overcrowded with old, outdated equipment. A tax is being proposed that would funnel money into additional school facilities and upgrading technology and buses. Arlington residents could be asked vote on an almost $200 million bond proposal that would fund the improvements, however, some skeptics don't think Arlington voters are willing to pony up the money after funding a large part of Jerry's World.
