Fort Worth’s T&P warehouse renovation to blend residential, retail, sky bar
The Texas & Pacific warehouse on Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth has been vacant for a long, long time -- but the era of vacancy could be drawing to a close as the building's owner and Dallas-based Cleopatra Investments are pushing forward with plans to deck out the structure in high (and, hopefully, highly profitable) style.
The half-a-million plus square foot building's renovation -- projected to begin in 2010 -- will incorporate apartments, shops, and restaurants, while the roof of the expansive structure will be home to a pool, clubhouse, sun decks and a sky bar. (Which raises the bar pertty high.)
Built in 1931, the historic structure has stood mostly vacant since the 1970s.

Chris Kidd, says:
We used to play paintball at cowtown paintball and went to the haunted house in that place over the years. Im glad the T&P is getting a much-deserved renewal/rebirth. Too bad Dallas hasnt gotten it together on saving their historic buildings accordingly. Another reason I love cowtown!
