Slayer guitarist Kerry King to appear at Dallas’ Guitar Center

Tattooed hailstorm of a guitarist, Slayer's Kerry King will be making an appearance at the Guitar Center in Dallas (7814 N. Central Expressway 214-692-9999) on August 13, as part of his commitment to BC Rich and EMG Pickups. He'll be talking and signing autographs for fans, as well as discussing his latest equipment and Slayer's soon to be released new album, World Painted Blood.

Two days later at Superpages.com Center, Slayer will be headlining the final date of this year's Mayhem Festival that also features Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and many others. Keep in mind the following night is the fifth annual Ride For Dime Concert and Bar-B-Que, that will feature an all-star jam with the likes of Ace Frehley, Slipknot's Corey Taylor, and Staind's Aaron Lewis. And the night of the King appearance will be the Judas Priest and Whitesnake show at Nokia Theatre. It's going to be a tremendous week for metal heads, both young and old.
