Dallas ISD setting up back-to-school hotline on first day of school, August 24
It will answer concerns and questions parents may have during the first week of school.
DALLAS The Dallas Independent School District will set up a back to school hotline starting Monday August 24, the first day of school, to answer concerns and questions that parents may have during the first week of school.
The parent hotline will address school-related concerns and ease the confusion normally associated with the first week of school. Parents can call the hotline at (972) 925-5437 (KIDS) beginning Monday, Aug. 24 through Friday, Aug. 28, to receive information about enrollment, bus routes, reduced school lunch applications, immunization requirements, school locations, hours of operation, and other school-related concerns. The hotline will operate in English and Spanish.
The hotline will be open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday August 24 through Tuesday August 25, and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday August 26 through Friday August 28.
