Sunnyvale has new high school, its first
The school has space for 500 but can be expanded to 900.
SUNNYVALE The town of Sunnyvale jubilantly dedicated its new Sunnyvale High School, the first one in the town located northeast of Mesquite. The school has space for 550 students but can be expanded to 900.

And all those kids were previously attending North Mesquite High School. My daughter just graduated this year, part of the last-ever combined Mesquite-Sunnyvale class. My son will follow in another six years. Will Mesquite ISD be able to maintain the arts and other electives at NMHS, now that the high-income Sunnyvale kids (and their highly-involved parents) have their own school?
